Our experience is that it has a lot to do with where you recruit and what sort of previous experience the employee has.

We've had bad luck hiring anyone that came out of any other gay industry (bars, clubs, other adult companies, etc) Not to say that there aren't some great people in those industries, just it seems that you have to look a whole lot closer.

We have a couple of amazing people now, but it's taken a lot of trial and error and bad hires in between to get there, and sometimes I think it's just luck of the draw.
