I hate to sound like a broken record, but if Mario is in the title, the game is usually good.
I love Mario Kart Wii, Super Mario Galaxy, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl (which has Mario IMPLIED in the title,
). And the Zelda and Metroid games received high marks too even though I personally never got them.
Some "classic" games to try to track down are Excitetruck, Elebits and a more recent hit Boom Blox. Wii Fit is fun if you can find it and are in need of losing a few pounds. There is also a Williams Pinball compilation for cheap if you like that sort of stuff. And if you like simple games with lots of replay, I recommend Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga. It's not a hard game, but there is a ton to do and go back and unlock and collect!
