IF you use sponsor hosted content ... that means leave the movie on the sponsor's server and don't copy it over to yours ... then yea, costs could be minimal. If you intend to allow others to upload content to share, you'll be in a world of (financial) hurt for bandwidth costs if you don't know how to market your site properly. Just more things to consider before getting on the Tube Site bandwagon ... I by no means consider this a "beginner" project. $0.02
We support tube sites and provide content to you in many forms, including hosted .flv files that you can hotlink (thus saving you bandwidth) or zipped wmv files that you can download and host yourself. We also have loads of video FHGs that you can use to rip the clips from too....it just depends on what you are doing and what software you use.
As for hosting, I second the NationalNet recommendation for top quality adult webhosting.
