Who is going to LA for XBiz, Cybersocket Awards?

Hey Everyone! I am going to be in LA for XBiz. We are going to be having LOTS of fun and I am ready to do business. Can I hear all of you yell, "MONEY!". Mansites is up for a Cybersocket Award, so wish us lots of luck.
I will be staying at the host hotel, so say "Hello!", introduce yourself and guess what... I will buy you a drink and we can talk biz.

I would rather slit my wrist with a rusty spoon than have anything to do with Cybersocket, they have proven themselves to be scammers, time and time again, the sooner they go out of business the better $0.02

Lee, being that I am still kind of new to this board can you please explain why all of the hate with Cybersocket? I made the thread/post mainly because I am looking to meet people in LA. Since I am representing ManSites and we were nominated for an Cybersocket award, I felt it important to attend for my company's sake. Any and all feedback is welcomed.

Do a search on GWW and you'll find plenty of information.

Lying about thier magazines circulation to get new advertisers.
Lying about their competitors circulation to make them look bad.
Having total disrespect for other companies who support the gay community.
Working in conjunction with GayVN/Epoch to get the Gay Phoenix Forum cancelled.
Changing award winners last minute so their advertisers win them.
Not removing companies nominated for awards after being requested to do so.
Deliberately calling the cops on show sponsors to interrupt webmaster events that competed with theirs.

That should be enough to get you started, just from what is on GWW.

Once you have searched GWW search over at some of the other gay boards and see what others think about their business practices too, theres a lot more you should be able to find out about their business practices and total disrespect for the gay webmaster community just so long as they can increase their income.
