There's no physical reason to shave for Olympic swimming either, but they do because it makes them "feel" faster.

I shave my chest, but only because my hair grows in kinda patchy and uneven (my dad's side has a lot of Native American, yet I got my muppet eyebrows from him too!). If I had some nice, aesthetically pleasing Tom Selleck/Thomas Jane chest hair, then I would keep it.

Two of my roommates proudly tell everyone who will listen that they shave absolutely everything, including the pubes, but they are both vain as hell, so dunno what to say about that.

Well, you guys all know I have a major shaving fetish, so I wouldn't be complaining. For me it's all about extremes. I like hairy guys or totally smooth. Not a big fan of the manscaping and especially not fond of the little square patch of pubes while everything around it is shaved. And the pube scruff just looks itchy to me. Totally smooth or nice thick bush. There's no in between for me.
