Curious Cash Communications & Non-payment

Ok, a report back from me as always.

After a thorough investigation it appears Jimmy (nicedreams) is a wanker.

WOW! Is this how you run your business? Name calling!

Now, as an aside, CuriousTim has asked me many times over the years to not be so quick to reply to board posts until the real story is known, but he also knows that I ALWAYS respond and ALWAYS follow things up. That is the way it should be be in my mind, and how I have operated ALWAYS in my 10 years in this biz. Ask anyone who actually knows me.

So, the story is:
- Jimmy has contacted the CuriousCash office MANY times (but never me).

So your company only responds to requests directly to you only? Ok.

- We have endeavored to save this situation during those communications.

Of course you have, but you were unable to respond to any of them until my post.

- Jimmy is claiming that he is still owed about $105 from since around 2002, which then adds up to his claim he should be paid.

I actually said 2004, read the emails again.

I don't know about other programs, but CuriousCash only has to retain tax records for 5 years, and we have revamped the program more than a couple of times in the last 7 years (this is our 10th year out of interest).

That's great! The sales only happened in 2006-2008 so you will be able to find those records and sales!

One would think that 2009 is a little bit late for someone to start thinking about chasing $105.

We simply can't check payments that were made that far back, and I doubt many programs could.

Its not a payment until you actually send money.

I would of thought a good webmaster would of checked with us with in a MUCH smaller time span than letting things get out of control and then check 7+ years later for $105.

I would of thought a good company would have sent the payment out when they should have instead of making the affiliate ask for it. You know last year when our account went over $100, thats when you should have.

In fact CuriousCash did not implement MPA3 until around that time (2002/2003), so it is quite possible that IF the debt is in fact owed, IT IS WITH A CCBILL ACCOUNT.

Its a MPA3 account.

I wasn't expecting to receive an email. And my nuts aren't numb.

I spend my time HELPING affiliates who need help, not hand holding morons, and I ALWAYS respond and I ALWAYS help.

Jimmy, you fail, now fuck off.

Now anyone out here who thinks this is an unreasonable approach is welcome to add their 2c and I will be more than happy to respect their opinion so long as they are happy to respect mine.

I am sure there are a LOT of program peeps out there who KNOW only too well what it is like to have some idiot go running to the boards when a contact page gives people ALL they need to get onto people in any number of ways (FYI, and to save you having to find it to try and prove me wrong - CuriousCash.com).

Of course the message sent through your contact form in your affiliate section doesn't count. And the multiple emails and forwards sent do not count either.

Jimmy, a final word of advice - sometimes it is better to stay silent and be thought an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

Maybe you should have taken your own advice first.

Wow, my mama always told me what people could do with that.

OH, and BTW! You should pick up yourself a copy of StatsRemote. It can read farther back into your system then you can apparently and get the stats that you can't seem to find. I loaded it up again today, and guess what, all those stats you can't find are there.

2006 - $73.45
2007 - $8.18
2008 - $21.57
