i think it is a lot to do with people not wanting to think others are cheaters or whatever they want to think everyone is good because they are good but i think this is when scammers and that can find new people to scam because they do not think about everyone might be a scammer.
my dad always told me to put locks on everythin because everyone is a theive if they get given the chance to be one!
