Most people don't know this, but CCBill recently started processing for tangible items, as well (tied into our affiliate program)
But before starting this, we had to look at this shipping issue and for now, we decided to follow what many adult companies are doing - only allow delivery via UPS or FedEx - private shipping companies.
TLA actually seems to keep up on restricted areas for shipping, though - look at their restricted shipping page- they allow a ZIP Code search.
There's a very broad, general list, Lee...

I'm surprised that places like Egypt, etc. aren't on there. Might as well be thorough.
I'm surprised that Spain is on there. Not sure about this, but I think they have gay marriage there, not sure.
LOL, just noticed the phrase on the left under my username: "Polish my nuts and serve me milkshake." oh dear.
You're right about Spain and Gay Marriage, it was passed into law in July, 2005. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...063000245.html
I guess I may be the exception to the rule. When we started back in 1998 the only thing existing was the so called "Cambria List". We reviewed and then chose to ignore. Some of the zip codes on the list were there because back in 1950 or 1960 they had ONE porn prosecution so it got on the list.
We chose to ship to every zip code in the United States. We've never had a problem. We also chose to ship to virtually every country. Over the years we found out that a few countries, such as Germany, Japan and China, began confiscating our DVD's, so we decided to stop sending there.
If someone legal authority in the US decides to go after you, it really makes no difference where you ship. Take, the Extreme Associates case. An employee of the Department of Justice (DoJ), was sent to Lancaster County, PA. With the help of the US Postal Authorities, he ordered DVD's from Extreme Associates and then they prosecuted in Lancaster Country....Amish Country.
I guess I've always believed that if you are going to be in the adult industry, then you need to be in 100%. If you afraid of the possibility of being prosecuted, then perhaps a career change should be in order.
I can only imagine how many hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of dollars, we would have lost by NOT sending to particular cities, counties or states.
