What are your plans for New Years Eve?

I'm going to visit friends, stay with them for the eveninig,have dinner, play board games, then "celebrate" the new year... then look at my watch and head off home and then for the airport to catch my plane to Turkey at 6:25 a.m.

I'll be in Turkey by the time Los Angeles celebrates the new year

Nothing big here.. My son is usually asleep by about 10 on nights like that so we just stay home or visit with friends.. Made the mistake of going out one new years and I had to hold him for 3 hours.

Since it is the last day of the month, I need to collect statistics from a specific program I subscribe to. With that program sponsor, the day-to-day stats during a month are presented in a different form than historic archived stats. So in order to keep my Excel Stats files consistent, I need to collect the stats on last day of the month by about 11 pm Pacific Time.

A group of friends just rented all three flats of an old Victorian and declared it to be it's own sovereign nation, the Free Assembly of Grrrlistan (or F.A.G.). NYE will be their inaugural party.

We stay in and watch movies and make popcorn and have hot appetizers like pizza rolls, mozzarella sticks, mini-corndogs, jalapeno melts, deep fry some chicken wing dings, and watch tv for when the ball comes down in New York.
