I think you are a little too late entering the DVD business, but I'll give you some advice as a amateur pron producer that has a DVD line also.

First, you need to make sure your sales will cover authoring, printing, replication and distribution.

I can suggest an all in one shop (minus the authoring) that I use. Breene Graphics is pretty good for a one stop shop in the LA area http://www.breenegraphics.com/

Next, Distributors will usually not take you seriously until you hit the "10" mark. Basically, 10 solid DVD releases, and they don't want you to push them out all at once, they want to see them over time. I currently have 12 in my World of Men line and it wasn't until my 10th release did distributors take notice (let alone I released the only gay porn filmed in the Middle East: World of Men; Lebanon).

You also need to price them right for distributors since they are looking for bargains. It will be hard to find a distributor that will buy your new line for $20 a pop.

Last, you will have to dump some money into marketing with a company like JRL which will basically want $600 paid in full and then they will also want to see a bit of a track record so they can help promote you.

Very last, if you are thinking that you will sell 1,500 units, well, like I said in my first point, you are a bit too late for those numbers.
