Yeah i got that email too, even though i stopped promoting them years ago.

Its always sad when a part of history disappears, like them or not, WEG have been around in the industry in one way, shape or form for many, many years.

Now, on the positive side, this is something we can all learn from, especially the program owners among us, be certain to check back at their sites over the coming few months and see how they monetize all that affiliate traffic they'll be getting for free from webmasters who dont change out all of their links.

I guarantee that even though WEG has closed its door, it will still be making money for months and years to come, 10+ years is a lot of affiliate links, with a lot of traffic to start playing with.

They will most likely end up redirecting that traffic to somewhere like CE Cash or one of the PPS programs paying out $40+ per join, they are going to make millions, upon millions of dollars for free over the next year or two, so long as they keep renewing their domain names.
