Help me a sec...
I am just starting out in the Gay Porn business, I have set my own site up, got some original content (pics Ive took) and the rest is from other sites via link exchanges and affiliate maketing programs...
I was just wondering what the average potential earnings could be?
Currently I am getting about £40 - £50 a month from verotel for their affiliate schemes..
could someone give me a rough idea as to what can be earned, btw Im on a little to no budget too..
thanks

i know people who make anywhere from $200 a month to $20,000 a month with their paysites. some large programs make more.
the quality and amount of your content, frequency of updates, whether the site delivers what the tour promises - all these are factors in what you could earn. also how you niche your content - you could say they were "real amateurs i shot" or find something more to make an interesting situation so the pics are all related somehow.

virgin by request ;)
there is no limit on how much you can earn, but to earn it you will have to have a killer site, kick ass traffic and a great affilaite program.
cheers,

Thanks, That's great advice. My site is not yet a paysite but once it get more and more content I will look towards this. My income is only generated by click thru affiliate links at the moment.
The Pics I take are from the niche market of "amateur scally lads" I was wondering if anyone knew how I could go about selling my exclusive content. It's not hardcore, just series shoots of solo lads stripping, wanking and cumming.
Thanks, advce appreciated.

don't sell your content - make an avs site with it instead of a free site. with a freesite to promote it, you could do pretty well with exclusive - it would even be worth paying or partnering with someone who knows what they're doing if your content is good. solo male is one of my best niches.

if i have msn, i'll contact you tomorrow and show you some avs's in realtime. if you want to work on the web, though, i highly recommend you get icq as it really is what most webmasters - including support reps - use.

Okay, first I'll give you the sales pitch.
MANcheck's a great system. We're the original gay system, so we've been around the longest. We're not the biggest in terms of numbers of sites, but that works to our advantage.
We've got about 31,000 sites in our affiliate network. And because we're not the biggest, the market isn't saturated with memberships, so that means there a lot of opportunity for sales.
A lot of webmasters make the mistake of signing up with half a dozen different systems and trying to make money with all of them. You know, if I can make X with one, I can make 6X with 6. But then, the webmaster will go and offer all six on the same entry page. So a surfer comes along and he's already got a UGAS membership, he looks at the six memberships available to enter the site and says, "Well, I've already got a UGAS membership, so I'll use that one." The webmaster have effectively lost a sale.
The only way to promote different AEN memberships is to keep each one separate in it's own mirrored site. So that all of the traffic hitting that site will have to have that AEN's membership to get in.
How do you make a site?
You'll need and introductory page with some pictures and copy showing and telling the vistior what they're going to see inside.
A lot of webmasters stop there, so when the surfer clicks the enter button, they get hit with the MANcheck sales pitch. But I'd suggest adding another page and giving them some larger preview pictures showing them what they're going to see inside. Work the surfer a bit, get them interested, get their dick stirring a bit. Then, when they hit the enter button, they'll be hit with the MANcheck pitch to buy a membership.
If you want to take a look at an example of how this is set up, check out:
MANcheck . This takes you to the new site section and you'll be able to poke around.
One thing that I want to caution you about is that adult webmastering, regardless of what you're doing, is hard work. It's not like you put up a site and the money floods in. You have to work at it hard and every day. When I started as a webmaster, it was a good three months before I started getting regular cheques. You have to stick with it, keep creating galleries, keep finding places to promote your site. It's a non-stop battle.
If I can be of any help, drop me a line.
Cheers

Hi NudeMalez
I only use affiliate programs to generate income from my porn site. It's wonderful.
Affiliate marketing has great potential. My costs for content are absolutely zero, so the gross margin on a $10 commission is 100%! And I don't have to mess around with any inventory, taking credit cards, customer service, etc.
Get people to your site. Sell them things. They will buy.
