Well, just go to http://www.icmregistry.com/ and have your domain reserved. I just found it now after a google search but it must be there for quite a while (at least before they received approval from ICANN).

Those of us with trademarks can protect our names from being used, but allowing them to corral the industry into the ".xxx" domain is just the first very easy step to censorship.

I think those "sold" names are half bullshit, half brokers, and half withhold's by the nic.

I'm absolutely with you on this and would happily ignoring them. However, at the end the customer is the one who's gonna decide if .xxx will be successful. And I'm quite sure if ICM pumps enough money into PR it will be accepted by the paying visitors. And there will be enough companies and individuals that pick the good domains (unless you hold the trademark) which we are ignoring and they will shave off our profits.

So the question is if we can a afford to ignore .xxx domains.
