    Check It Out WANTED: Social Media Marketing Consultant

    Social Media Marketing Consultant (Specialist)

    Will be responsible for strategy, planning, implementation and analysis. Candidates up for consideration must be able to prove that they are committed power users of

    social media communities and tools, and have a solid understanding of how to drive consumer and business engagement within online social networks.

    They must demonstrate a strong interest in web technology. They will also need to help plan and execute social media campaigns and will be responsible for content

    creation, delivering regular analytics, and driving strong campaign engagement performance. Web marketing expertise in B2B and B2C environments (including SEO) is

    required. Experience in adult space required.

    Responsibilities include:

    - Developing social media and strategy and content aligned with the brand and the
    clients business goals

    - Using creative means to drive strong engagement and organic growth of all social
    media properties

    - Posting content on social media outlets and be highly responsive to comments and
    feedback; coordinate with clients to support their marketing programs and campaigns

    - Managing all aspects of the client's blog, including overseeing the writing of blog
    posts, conducting outreach and building relationships with influencial people within the
    social media community

    - Building and managing metrics reporting. Analyze and translate quantitative and
    qualitative data from and into an actionable social media engagement plans

    - Work closely with the client and web team to ensure we're fully leveraging the tools
    available for maximum impact/results

    The right candidate will thrive in a highly entrepreneurial, fast-changing, and collaborative environment where people are driven, enthusiastic, and not afraid to take

    risks.

    Qualifications must include:

    - 4+ years experience in social media and demonstrated passion for it

    - In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants and how they can be deployed in different scenarios

    - General Search Engine Optimization knowledge as it relates to social media which
    includes content link building strategy.

    - Strong, proven project management skills

    - Strong ability to communicate with clients in written and oral form and to create
    compelling pitches

    - Team player who is able lead and willing to roll up the sleeves to get the job done

    - Ablity to work individually and within functional teams to develop consensus and drive
    results

    - Proven understanding of how to get strong results leverging social media, with
    minimum budget

    Min. travel is required to meet with potential clients for presentations and demos.

    For Nalem itself? Facebook won't be a great converter there, since it's tough to market adult in FB-land

    Facebook is great for us to reach gay consumers.. But I don't get people making a job out of this.. it literally takes me 10 minutes a day to put a post up.. Am I missing something

    I built a myspacew account to 30k and a twitter account to 11k, pretty easy really

    No it is not for NALEM. I am on the hunt for the right person for another project. Not easy, as most "experts" are far from that.

    For NALEM, places like FB are just a way to connect with industry people (for now).

    If someone is planning a plain wrap straight forward spam campaign Vendzilla, those tools work.

    When it comes to building out the social network, understanding social behaviours of consumers within each platform, and creating and implementing a strategic campaign, so you have the consumer/audiences attention ... very few people in the world know what they are doing.

    My partner on the project is one of those rare people who "gets it", now its a matter of finding his twin.
