Cowley was a master of synthesizer music during the late 70s disco era, until his untimely death in about 1981. The original score for I Feel Love was by Georgio Moroder, and Cowley added his own synth overlays to enhance the cocaine influenced party at disco clubs.

As much as I am NOT into the drug underground, I would imagine the very low and very high synth tracks really made for an awesome dance experience, especially in the big NYC, LA or SFO clubs, with ballroom like interiors.
