I don't pay the Visa fee, because $800 is a steep percentage of annual sales. Not that 14% processing isn't either!

But I look in my own pocket and see that half of my 10 bank cards are MasterCard. You can go to grocery stores and buy prepaid debit cards that are MasterCard, so I don't sweat it.

A couple of times a year, I get an e-mail from a surfer complaining that Visa isn't an option. That's not worth $800.

I think that's pretty short-sighted. VISA is the king. How many people just walk away and don't bother emailing you. I wouldn't bother, I'd just go somewhere else.
