In regards to your question, it sounds like you're trying to network with others in the adult industry, but in person as oppsed to the way many of us do it, which is online in forums like this. The good news is that you're in LA so it might be easier. The only suggestion I can offer is to attend any local porn related events, like award shows and such, then network like crazy. If there are any pornstar appearances at your local bars or videostores (is Drake's still there?) I'd approach the guys and ask if they can put you in contact with agents and directors.
