I was wondering what the industry thought of tumblr. it allows people to share content for free. some sites have tumblrs as a way to drive traffic towards their pay sites.

I'm thinking about starting a tumblr site to throw up images I collected years ago... back in the age of floppy drives! I have thousands of them that are now on CDs so rather than having them collect dust I thought, why not share them with the world on tumblr?
