It's like Mitt Romney and his taxes. If he wanted to remain a private citizen we have no right to see his taxes, but because he wants to be president and will set tax and economic policy, we have a right to know about his income and investments.
It didn't take long for the straight guys name to surface and he then publicly admitted to it.

I've not heard any names on the gay performer. Or even a state other than it's not CA.
