I never really pursued Clips4Sale. The American company HotMovies.com has a clips division. It is a good VOD platform, but like all VOD platforms, it is all about having a new release every couple of weeks, in order to stay featured. I'm not sure if clips are in demand by gay buyers, or more straight collectors.

Unlike member pay sites, with current VOD platforms algorithms you can't create brand identity unless you constantly turn out new content. Which is too bad, because that can water-down the catalog, and places a huge amount of stress on the producer to keep churning out more. You definitely can't promote themes and anthologies and portfolios.

As long as Visa regards DVDs as non-risk, I'm sticking with CCBill and CommerceGate (DHD in America) for both my tangible as well as digital downloads.
