With programs like Acid and Garage Band around these days, just about anyone can make music that goes nowhere for free, so what you do will have to be incredibly good while not being noticeable to people who want to ignore it.

I don't agree with you about it not adding anything but a cover-up. Music can set a mood, add to drama, and make scenes in ANY type of movie more appealing (or less). Maybe that is what bad directors use it for, but good directors DO use it to set the mood of their "films" porn or not.

I'm not incredibly good, but I don't think I'm horrible either. I don't do sites like Acid (thats for premade loop music) but I did mp3.com when it was there and got over 25,000 downloads, sold cd's, got into the top 10 on some of the electronic charts, and made a little bit of good money before they died.
