What Type Of Mainstream Products Would You Like To..

Be able to promote from an 'adult' sponsor that you currently cant?

Ive been looking at a few different mainstream sponsor programs / affiliate networks over the last few days and its simply amazing that more of these companies havent made their way into the 'adult' world.

Other than the 'usual' software, herbal products and dating sites what else would you like to see make its way into the adult affiliate arena specifically from the mainstream web?

don't think they can make their way into adult considering how little most of these places pay out compared to what adult companies pay out

You would be surprised

Just because most of them payout a lot less in mainstream that doesnt mean they arent able to payout the rates expected in adult

Whether you market something in adult or mainstream the profit margin is still the same, it just depends on how greedy the affiliate program is

Take for example herbal supplements, i know where i can get 100 bottles of some of the products currently available for promotion in adult for a mere $1 per bottle.

Now, take int account, the retail cost of something like a penis pill, lets say on the low cost end it retails for $50 - thats a pure $40 profit at least :thumbsup:

Oh my ... the mind just runs with this, as so many associated products could do very well if they'd allow porn site promotions! I think the one that really gets me -- is the software for keeping kids safe from porn. Now most of us willingly add those links for those sites to our index pages, and we'd probably be THE number one group to become an affilate and yet they won't allow a pornsite to upsell their product!

Not sure how some suppliers for stuff like cell phone gear, phone games, services, etc are about allowing an adult site to upsell. It'd be great to have that on sites that are pushing the cell phone tgps or have sites with cell phone compatible galleries for instance.

Another smaller niche item might be some upsells to products that fit hand in hand for that niche, say the toon niche ... comic book sales or comic book collections that aren't necessarily hardcore anime.

have your LEAVE or EXIT link go to a mainstream site
(you create for yourself) and sell the mainstream products
there... DON'T put the xxx url on the mainstream domain
just send your xxx traffic IN there... not FROM there...
or have it 2 mainstream generations deep - if it's a really
picky mainstream sponsor...

Yea, I know about doing it that way, but the point of the post was stuff we'd like that could actually be linked from a porn site, not re-routed like that to get the sale, hon.

With the right 'angle' there are so many products that could do well with adult sites...

(i.e. Exit console that says: Sufing porn for hours? Feeling a little guilty? Click here to buy a gift for your partner/spouse and feel better instantly! Don't wait, click NOW!)

... seriously though: I wouldn't mind seeing a subscription offer for cosmo on the same site I'm surfing for a vibe... or even an offer for the Sex and the City on DVD in the 'for women' category of an adult video/dvd store.

Sex and the City .... what a great idea...especially on a for women site...they also have a book and I am sure there are sites with fashion knock offs from the show that would also do well.

We have a cigarette Sponsor that could do really well with the right application.
