Sometimes I think we will go out to a bar, and psychologically set ourselves up for dissapointment. I mention that because I have observed myself behaving that way.

I have found that when I go out, and I have a good attitude without that junk in my head, I'll have a pretty fun night. Set your expectations.

Know your target market too. If I go to one of my regular night spots on Thursdays, I'll always get my ass grabbed by several black drag queens. That always seems now to get things off to a good start.
