recomended him to a pal after what he did for gaypornkings, and now after being prepaid he seems to have disappeared from the face of the planet.

awesome cartoonist, would really like to see this resolved.

How long has it been?

He did a logo for me about 1.5 months ago. Same sort of thing happened, but he got dumped a lot of work by some clients who just resurfaced out of the blue.

After a couple of hello-I-haven't-heard-from-you polite e-mails, I just wrote him a polite, but firm: I've paid you, you said it would be done by this date, I'd like to get started on my project, when will it be done?

He answered back pretty quickly, apologized and admitted he was overloaded, finished my project up within 24 hours.

been a few months, intermittent emails but now no contact at all... just doenst reply...

Well if you want to see if he's getting your email just pop a single pixel gif in your next email, that's linked on your server, and send it from an address that he doesn't know with the subject "I'd like to hire you for some work". Check your logs and see when he views it :-) Or send him an electronic greeting card from a made up name and see when he opens it :-D

Then again if he's reading the board he'll already know but you don't know until you try.
