I made the decision to leave the US after DOMA was signed, it took a few years to make it happen, but I got out in Aug 2001 and hae felt beter ever since.

Only been back once and that was cause I needed to see some family. I am due back before the end of the year to renew my passport but have been holding off to see how the election goes. If Bush gets elected, or should I say re-appointed, I am just gonna find a way to get the embassy to renew it from here.
