I remember a while back when some others and I at the EFF were working on an age verification script to make available for all adult webmasters free of charge. I got an email from Mr. Walters stating that we might be "infringing" on his pending patent for age verification. Seems Larry was following in the footsteps of Acacia and patenting stuff, in this case adult verification on the internet, so that if you were trying to verify age, you would be infringing on his patent. Something like that anyway. So we stopped working on the scripts.

I think Hammer ended up posting one somewhere for everyone.

I wonder if Larry is going to try and track down and sue the hackers or take it on the chin and learn a lesson from the experience.

I think it's pretty lame he wants you to be a "client" of his to use the age verification script when you can get similar scripts, on a number of script websites, for free. :high:
