I totally agree, as a newbie you should not go around criticising the relationships of experienced webmasters with their affiliate partners. Instead, you should be on these boards chatting and asking for assistance and guidance, there are a lot of very experienced webmasters that help with absolutely nothing in it for them. Once you have earned a level of trust, I am sure you will easily be able to make deals with other webmasters too.
