The Supreme Court of Canada gave its non binding decision today in favour of same sex marraige. The proposed legislation is now expected within the House of Commons shortly.

The fight isn't over as it requires a free vote in the house, the Conservatives here are preparing to fight it, even attempt to bring the government down on this issue.

It just might be Martin's ploy even so to all Canadians... URGE YOUR MP TO VOTE YES by emailing them, faxing them or even calling their offices. The Tories are going to try the same shit that the Republicans did in the States...

While most experts expect the majority of Liberals, NDP, and Bloc members to support the legislation, we can't rest until the BILL PASSES. I ask all Canadians here to CONTACT YOUR MP, specially if you are in Ontario... LET THEM KNOW YOU WILL NOT SUPPORT A TORY REGIME DESIGNED TO SUPPRESS THE COURT OR OUR RIGHTS!
