I am staying at the Luxor and I booked early. I think it is the best value and location--not as much as Mandalay Bay, it is adjacent to Mandalay, but much nicer than Excalibur.

MGM and New York New York are both nice, but not connected to Mandalay by the monorail like Luxor.

Location and value are important, but if you expect to spend a lot of time in your hotel room you probably are in the wrong business~~~~
