There's a mutually beneficial relationship that makes this board, as a business work.

People are allowed to engage and discuss and deliver and receive information. That keeps them coming back. That creates activity and membership. In turn, all of that can be capitalized on to generate an income source for the ownership. That's the business. Take out the first part of all of this and what's left? A "business" without a product?

That's why it bugs me that respected people dedicated to this community were so quickly shut up and discouraged from discussing the matter because it didn't "directly affect them".
