Weekend in the mountains is good -- those 2-3 day getaways are like beyond gold in any relationship.

For the "short time frame" romantic - there's always dinner and then an hour rental at one of those hot tub centers that have the private outdoor ones. We always found doing that in the dead of winter and snow all around, with an appt. time just approaching sunset was an awesome "date".
