I have switched every PC I have to Firefox. With IE, I used AD Aware every day and cleaned 30 to 50 items. With Firefox, my Ad Aware works about as much as Pres Bush and when I do use Ad Aware I find only 6 to 10 items.
I have noticed it is a bit slower than IE, and have changed some settings but still seems a bit slower. I would love to hear how to speed Firefox up a bit more--anyone please post those fixes here?

No popups for me either, but I have noticed that I see errors in code--even on big sites like Yahoo with Firefox that I wouldnt have seen with IE.

I've been using Mozilla since Mozilla 0.6 (long before Firefox). I started using Firefox around the 0.8 release and it's the only browser I use now. I love the tabbed browsing, integrated search-within-page, popup blocking, and a lot of the other features.

Firefox displays about 95% of the pages I view correctly. People get annoyed and say that Firefox "screws up" some pages but in fact it's Microsoft's non-compliant code that ONLY it's browser interprets that is the problem; if Microsoft wasnt' so interested in squashing everyone else and played fairly, there'd be no compatibility issues at all. The good news is it seems that many sites that were once only Microsoft compatible have since been rewritten to be 100% HTML compatible, and as Firefox continues to chip away at IE's lead, I think that trend will continue.

Siince I discovered it some year ago I rarely ever use IE (Except for playing on Zone....

It is the best thing in computers since ... well... since porn ofcourse

I have popup blocker on, so I never see any annoying popups, no dialers or similiar kind of shit... google search box is always ready, windows open in same tab....

Oh yes, it does make your own sites look a bit sloppy thoe.... hmmm I wonder whose fault it is

:coffee: I love it! I use the hell out of the tabbed browsing feature as well as forecast fox and the alexa & google page rank extensions.

I love firefox! The browser itself is just better. I am taking classes for xhtml and I guess I havnt learned any bad habits, but my teacher has told us about IE "fixing" bad code. I personaly havnt noticed any problems viewing things in FF, but then again I am usually forced to validate my sites for school through the W3 validater. The only time I even open IE is to view sites, other than that I wouldnt touch it. Design for the masses!

I love Firefox. The extensions which you can download and install provide it with a lot of functionality that makes it easier to use.

The only problem I've had is that I designed my sites using it. Then when I went to IE to check them everything was off. I had been trying to do most things using DIVS rather than TABLES and the two just didn't display things the same. I've since gone through and fixed things so they show up the same in both browsers.

I've been watching my stats and probably 90% of my visitors use IE.
