What makes you choose to promote a site?

I prefer single sites over the conglomerate-sites model. I find single sites are often run by one or two people and they're a labour of love, therefore, they're usually better quality.

I tend not to like cookie-cutter sites because they also tend to feature the same content over and over again.

I like gay sites made by gay people. There are a number of straight people who do gay sites well, but they're few and far between. So things like gays, gag that cocksucker, trick the "straight" guy don't appeal to me.

I like original content. I don't care about hosted galleries or free content. I don't use a lot of it. In fact, I tend to prefer programs that keep their content tight. Men at Play converts well for me because it's content hasn't been chewed up on TGPs.

I stay away from any sponsor that is based in Russia. Too much of their stuff looks dodgy, and judging how that part of the world acts on TGPs and AVS's, I'm never really sure if I'd get much of the money I earned anyway. Besides the English on their tour pages is often bad and as a credit card holder that makes me think, "Uh oh, is my credit card safe?"

I also steer clear of anything too young. I don't care if you claim to have 2257 docs. In my country, if the cops think he looks underage, they swoop in first, maybe ask questions later, and then, you spend the next five years of your life in court.

Finally, I tend to like sites that are niche specific like: English Lads, Men at Play, or Varisty Men.

Jasun, are you asking because Fratmen TV is thinking of starting one? It's exactly the kind of site I'd promote. BTW, you might want to tell them to fill up all that "white" space on the left side of their homepage ... tsk, tsk, tsk, what a waste of prime real estate.

Personally I stay away from the big "cookie cutter" sites like ARS sites. It has to be content that is worth while to your visitor. It looks bad for your site if your sending your visitors to a site thats gonna rip them off. At the same time they have to be big enough to have been around a while. I like to know that we will receive our payout, and the site will be around for the customer next week.

I think a comfortable relation should be established. Good comunication skills. I like to be personable when I talk to anyone not just customers. Not like brown nosing, I hate that mess. But a good relationship with business I think is important. I would rather call a friend then a stranger... :light: :goof:

Fairly new sponsor programs are good to promote as they are not deluted/saturated and most of the times they are more customer service oriented as they are hungry for "us". If they provide us with hosted movie gals then its a no brainer..

well I am an Account Rep for AEBN we have an Affiliate Program that helps make people money for free. LoL If you have a website you can put one of our free Theatres on it. People go into the Theatre create a user name and password and purchase minutes, then watch there desired videos. Our Theatres are also matched to your site. I dont know how familiar you are with AEBN. But we match color, text, and banner. I have had a great time working here and I know I try to have some kind of friendship with my Affiliates. It makes me feel more comfortable talking to them and Im sure they feel the same way. LoL

I prefer sponsors that use CCbill and their stats program. I've joined a number of sponsors that might use CCbill as one of their billers, but they have a cascading system and their own stats page. For some reason, those sites never convert well for me. I just DON'T trust them.

I love FHG's, FPA's and odd-sized banners. Please provide them! Also, don't overdo the designs on your banners. Big images showing off your exclusive content are the most usefull.

He is right, sometimes ugly is the best. I find that with anything advertising to be "Amateur" it MUST have an ugly tour in order to convert. People just don't buy that someone with a professional tour has "amatuer" content.

Once you place the java script on your site regarding OutoftheCloset.tv, it provides 7 links that provide "single click" links that fire up real player video play lists. These lists include music videos, top 10 videos, feature film previews, films, etc.
