A lot of the straight community members we have on GWW HAVE read this thread but havent replied to it :eek:

In fact, almost 50% of the unique views on this thread alone have come from our straight community members.

Oh i dont doubt it, you only have to look through some of the responses on a range of boards to see the ribbing they would get if someone felt like it

It is a shame though, with so many straight webmasters lurking on GWW and hopefully learning stuff, they should be able to post and join in the community to without fear of ridicule from their associates and peers especially when almost every straight owned affiliate program these days has gay sites in their portfolio

It's entirely possible that those who don't respond don't give a shit about joining our community and just want to use our ideas and insight to make money on Gay surfers. :high:

Personally, I have found this board, warm, welcoming and a great help. As I do with any board that has been a boon to our progress, look to the advertizers here when I am buying new content.

I can understand how they feel that way because when Gay people post on straight boards we often encounter the typical jokes, questions, etc. Most of the time the BS is surreptitous.. others times it's blatent. Do a search under the term "fag" or "faggot" on straight boards like Ynot and you'll get results.

Plenty of Gay people have been hurt by straight people and only feel comfortable working within the Gay circle, and that's understandable. Money that stays in the Gay community makes it stronger. I have a few projects going with straight people and have no problem at all with them. Why should I?
