I signed up in april of 2003 and had free AOL untill October, cause they kept insisting I try them out.

Last time they kept me on the phone for 30+ minutes, telling me how great it was an all ..............

, I have had AOL for over 8 years now. But I have not payed for a single month in over 3 years. Every two months I call in to cancel and they give me two more months free to stay. You think they would keep a record of free credits. But as long as they let me do it I will keep doing it. :devil:

Ah crap, I just joined ballys. I told them I would like my billing date on the 1rst and the lady said no problem, come to find out it's the 28th, and she said she never told me "no problem".

yes, its funny when non-adult sites take adult shady practices and use them, they call it aggressive marketing but we get shut down by visa for using the same tactics. Its a shame anyone has to use those tactics, really!

papers get tossed it seems from hundreds of feet cause they always land somewhere odd

i know dozens of people who cancelled their bally's memberships and found themselves rebilled for another year... and when you call to get the situation solved, they always act like such a thing has never happened before *LOL*

before the internet was more than a collection of bbs's, i got a free two-week trial for the los angeles times newspaper.

after a few days, i discovered i had no time to read the paper. i called and asked that the papers be discontinued. the nice person i talked to said he noted my account, and thanks.

after the two weeks were over, the papers kept coming. i called, recancelled, but the papers kept coming. i called once a month, but still the papers kept coming. i also started getting guys calling to sell me a subscription. i let them know i couldn't seem to cancel the one i already had.

after six months of having to pick up and recycle the damned papers, the los angeles times threatened to send me to collection or even sue me. i went fucking off - not for the first time.

it took me more than two years to get this fully sorted out.

what can i say? neither adult nor the internet invented these problems :-/
