    Hi!

I'm still a lowly Ticketsclub (I know, the lowest form of life), so I don't pay the VISA Fee.

Squirt: Apart from not having go through Ticketsclub and the fee, do you get any extra benefits from being Pro?

I haven't looked at the differences in the plans but I get my own CC descriptor which is cool.

You know you could use CCBill Ernie if you get a mailbox in the U.S. and signup for a U.S. bank account. Mailboxes are $60 for 3-6 months and deposit on a U.S. account is $100 .

verotel has certainly missed payments with me, and when i checked on other boards, i'm not the only one. they don't answer emails from affiliates or lower webmasters - you have to call. i won't promote a site using verotel.

can someone here show us a ticket club join page?

    Hi!

Yes, I know Verotel has gotten a bad rap at other boards and I may just be lucky. But my first pay period was 05-17-2000 and they've never let me down.

Their tech support usually replies to my emails within 24 hours, not as fast as CCBills but then I don't have to email them as much as CCBill.

I also use CCBill which I have to get a check for (I am in Australia) so I get it mailed to my bank. Which is OK but it delays everything a week while it's mailed.

Paycom or whatever they're called now, I emailed them about 10 days ago about processing with them and are still awaiting a reply.

I know people have had trouble with Verotel, but then I've had heaps more trouble with CCBill to be honest.

Yes, I also have CCBill as well, I have them mail my check direct to my US bank which then deposits it to my account. Works well but not as good as ACH Depositing though.

What U.S. Bank do you deal with? I sent you a private msg response on here :high:

I also emailed paycom about 5 times the last few months. Never get a response.

i always get responses from epoch and ccbill. i know a LOT of people who can't get a response from verotel. in fact, even people i know who use and like then say they can't get an email response - thejungle, you are the only one who gets emails. what's your secret?

i've never had problems getting a response from epoch, but i have read on this board of others having problems. i'll leave a message for rand so when he gets back, he can address this issue.

    Hi Basschick:

I always get an answer from CCBill but it depends who you get to answer your email as to how `good' the answer is. I have one person there I hope (and pray to the proceesing Gods) gets my email because she has a spot on answer every time.

The last time I emailed Verotel about something was last November:
I sent it at 10.23PM on the 28th and got a response at 7.31AM on the 29th.

I usual just email merchantsupport, and they get back to me fairly quickly.
As I said though I don't have to email them very often so maybe I've just been lucky.

    Hey Squirit,

I have a question in reference to your post (included below in italics).

You're saying that CCBILL can be setup simply with a US PO Box and a US Bank Account? Is this for VISA as well that you're referring to? Because, from what I understand, you actually have to live in the states (or, have somebody that does, hence my need to use VEROTEL).

you need a u.s. corporation to set up ccbill or epoch, not simply a u.s. post office box. that is why my canadian partner had to incorporate in the u.s.

ccbilleu may be a different situation, and well worth looking into if you're not in the states, but when frank got hooked up with epoch, canada had to go the u.s. corporation route. his option was verotel - not an option if you want the most affiliates possible - or else incorporation.

    HEy Basschick,

Yeah, true... I've even spoken to Frank about it. What I've found out though, is that if I have a US Corporation, I'm going to have to give up full control of my CCBILL account (as it will be in the name of the principle and not me). And, just like Frank, I'd use one of those services (companiesinc.com, incorporate.com, etc. and they'd act as my principle from what I'm understanding). Who's to say that my principle can't exclude me, direct funds, etc.?

Have I got this write, Basschick, or am I wrong here?

Wow you have to be a corporation now with CCBill damn. Things are getting a lot harder. All that trouble and they take 14.5% of your income as well as charging you fees. Even if Verotel went under AND took my holdbacks I'd still be ahead in the end over using CCBill because I've been saving 8% of my income all this time using Verotel. Not to mention EU accounts are charged 16% + fees.

I said "if you get a mailbox in the U.S. and signup for a U.S. bank account. Mailboxes are $60 for 3-6 months and deposit on a U.S. account is $100 ." By mailbox I mean a U.S. presence. U.S. Address. I don't think you can get a bank account with a P.O. Box.. or have a corporate address with a P.O. Box.

CCBill is a great company it just sucks they are so expensive.

The thing I don't like about verotal is the affiliate program. I used them and I couldn't figure out why I didn't have affiliates, its because the program they use doesnt' always get your affiliate signups. I emailed and called noone ever responded, I quickly signed up with CCbill and have been there ever since!

Why didn't you goto their live support for instant answers http://chat.verotel.com/cgi-bin/connect_merchant.pl , instead of emailing? Or if you didn't get a response to email goto the live support page?

I've never had affiliates email saying they couldn't signup on Verotel.

How can you call the 24/7 tech support and noone answer?

Just like anything else, different people get different experiences I guess but it's hard not to get help with life support and 24/7 tech support.
