And I've bought photo sets from Bregot. I can assure you that I'm satisfied with the identification and model release forms. In fact, it's some of the best documentation I've seen. I have also been dealing with and talking to Bregot online for many months and I have no reason to believe he's a "shady" character. In fact, he's quite the opposite and when I purchased pictures from him, he started uploading my content before the payment had even been completed.

I consider Bregot to be more than just a casual business contact, he's a friend.

JustMe, seems to me this situation could have been cleared up with a quick e-mail: "Sorry, not satisfied with the model docs, I'm deleting the pics from my server. I will not be purchasing them. Sorry." Had you communicated with him then he would not be left wondering if he was being ripped off. Geez ... what's up with the world these days, common courtesy is truly a thing of the past, isn't it?

Finally, claiming that someone is faking IDs is pretty extreme. And since when have you become an expert on Polish passports and other forms of identification, JustMe.

Which is exactly why I don't like this type of thing ending up on webboards, it's stupid.

I'm not, which is why one of the 2 people I showed it to was one of my friends from the Feds who's a documents specialist. He told me he wasn't confident in the docs, so that was good enough for me.

This whole conversation is dumb, and I'm not getting into a tit-for-tat over it on a forum.

Nope, I can't. I don't have anything that he provided me anymore, I deleted it all.

And even if i DID have it, I don't think it would be appropriate to post on a public forum. As a matter of fact, I don't think this entire thread is appropriate. This type of drama isn't what forums are around for in the first place, and I certainly wouldn't have ever started a thread like this to begin with.

And don't worry about this thread turning into a giant cluster fuck, because I'm simply done responding to it.

That'd odd, JustMe, I never upload IDs or model releases until I'm actually paid. It's a safeguard I use to make sure that the pictures can't be used until I'm paid for them. Since this all occurred two months ago I suppose it's possible that I broke my own rule and actually include the model releases before I was paid. Nevertheless, a simple communication that you weren't happy with the content and didn't want it would have avoided all of this. Thanks for taking the time to respond here.

two things -

JustMe has paid me for work i have done for him, and he was very pleasant about it.

JustMe hadn't wanted to bring it to the boards, but i felt he should. unless i have it wrong, the snapshots of one of the models has the guy holding a photocopy of his i.d. the point of having the model hold the i.d. is to verify he brought it with him, so i suggested posting on the boards would be a good idea.

Yeah, it's all rather bizarre. Seems to me that Bregot was talking to me, JustMe was talking to Forest and basschick. When all that had to happen was for JustMe to talk to Bregot and the whole thing would never have reached this thread.

Communication avoids all kinds of problems.

I just wanted to say that we were used to work with JustMe and he always paid us on time, without any delays. He's a great person to deal with. We've been working together till now and right now we have several active projects, and we're happy to work with him and his company. :thumbsup:

Here's a picture of the model and his ID. The document is not a photocopy but an original Polish document. However, a passport would have been better, so I'll keep that in mind for future shots.
