Yes it is. That is why lube is out of the question. It mucks up the keyboard.
After a year of this, I have a system down now. I'll usually watch a DVD through once --- for "information and pleasure" purposes. That way I know it and I can think about what exactly to talk about in the review.

Then I'll go back to one that I've watched weeks earlier and actually write a new review. I will go find the press materials that accompanied the DVD so I can see what's in there. I sometimes will use it, plus often seeing a quick breakdown on paper of the scenes and who does what makes the process faster. Sometimes the movies arrive with nothing but a paper dvd sleeve. Others arrive with very impressive pomp and splendor.

After writing the draft, I'll edit it and then look through for potential links to other related materials which may be helpful to the reader.

Then I go and get the jpg images. I figure out the provocative ones that will tantalyze the reader into wanting to purchase the film. These need to be resized to fit my specifications for my pages. And then I go and build all potential side sells to affiliate programs, video on demand programs, foreign mail order houses, etc.

Lately, the best time I have for writing movie reviews is in the evening. Often, I'll write one, assemble everything, and then once I post it to the website, I'll go out for a beer and see real humans.
