Here is my concern: What the adult porn industry does is sell porn to customers--the customerswant to see it! The Atty Gen and all those screaching legislators talk about the "unwanted exposure" as if some brainwashed bible thumper will EVER walk into an adult book store and have some clerk start showing them pictures against their will of contented, happy adults fucking. The same goes for the Internet--people that get into Members Areas WANT TO SEE MEMBERS AREAS. There is no unwanted exposure to porn! So what the bastards are really after is reduction or elimination of porn, because they think we can't make our own decisions as to what we want to see in our own homes. We are all grown-ups and we can decide that we want to see two men fucking, or three, or four, if we want to see big women playing with balloons. It is Our Choice as adults in a free society.
Very well said. And remember Extreme Associates being prosecuted as violating community standards when it was material PURCHASED BY THE GOVERNMENT for the soul purpose of prosecuting them?? Crazy.

I could see a bunch of bible thumbers going to every porn shop, buying one item, then submitting them for prosecution for violation of THEIR community standards.

Governments are a good thing, but not kept in check they can easily spiral out of control. I'm glad I'm an American though... in a LOT of countries porn is illegal. In China people are being thrown in jail for 5 - 10 years at a time for having porn sites. It's insane. The porn laws here in Australia just don't make sense... prostitution is legal but they are all uptight about hosting porn sites etc.
