i just got the panasonic gs250 - the big brother of the cam you were talking about.
so far, i can tell you that -
it's painfully easy to use
the quality of the video is very good
the learning curve isn't bad
on this one, the image stabilization is quite good.

On the other hand.... You have different fingers
A lot of our early stuff was shot on a single-CCD Canon camcorder. Granted, it was originally a high end camcorder, but today's $500 camcorders are probably better quality than our first camcorder was.
Nonetheless, the scenes shot with our original camcorder still look decent on DVD. You can definitely tell which ones were shot with the new DVX-100a ($3000+) but honestly, I think you'd do fine with the GS-150; we're going to buy a 250 soon for B-roll and filler footage.

i found there were wiggly edges in the video i saw by the 150 - that's why i went with the 250. (i'm sure they're not called wiggly edges, but i don't know what they are really called). it was fairly noticeable here

i guess being in a well lit room with just a guy or two might make this a lot less of a problem...

Curious bunny that cam will be fine for the internet. Think how highly compressed your final product is going to be. I have been shooting for several years now with sony single ccd cam trv6.

true, but not ALL video is as small or highly compressed.
check this sample video out - go to

and click on broadband. it makes me rethink my entire theory about video size for websites.
