No offense, but people that work in this industry and take stances like this make me chuckle. While, I do agree that a sponsor should use a business name that is somewhat generic, I also think that people that work in this industry should grow some balls (figuratively, of course) and realize that there is some amount of risk involved in this business. If you live in a small town where everyone is nosey, and you're uncomfortable with people knowing what you do, then maybe you shouldn't be in this particular business.

Or move, or something...

some banks will terminate your account if they know you're adult. other than that... well, i know some people are uncomfortable, but i happily deposited my checks from stiffycash and rawlikesushi

I dont feel that everyone who works in porn full or part time should uproot their lives and move to a major city because a sponsor is too cheap, stupid and careless to mail checks that sound like a normal corporation, and doesn't care about the privacy of their affiliates. But to each his own.

Not everyone can afford to, or wants to live in SF, LA, or NYC.

Washington Mutual is amazing. Not only is my account manager a Big Flamin' Mary Card Carryin Homo, but they constantly ask how business is when I'm depositing piles of checks with blatant adult business names.

My Account Manager found out who we were when he saw the Badpuppy check. His eyes lit up as big as saucers. He might as well have been getting a hummer under the counter.

Maybe I'm missing something but don't most people deposit checks through an ATM? I assume the checks are then routed to a processing plant somewhere (maybe Fresno or India) where some minimum-wage-slave, who's supposed to process 5,000 checks each hour, punches the numbers into a giant computer.

I look forward to the day when we don't have paper checks anymore. Of course they may be replaced by human implant tracking devices so the news is not all good.

that being said, read your bank's terms and conditions. certain b of a's (not all of them, by far) can and WILL term you without prejudice. their tos allow that, and you have to sign it before you can open an account. i've heard of other banks doing that, but mostly b of a.

Ahahahaha that's fucking classic. It's a similar experience when I go into Safeway a couple nights a week. The checkout counter guys all know what I do for a living, and they also ask me how business is. LOL

When I walk in, they usually all stop and say "Heyyyyyy!!" when I walk by. hahahaha
