since we are legally required to keep our own database or even hard copies of this info cross referenced by name and url, their solution... well... isn't a solution at all.

Basschick... TopBucks will let you call them while the Sheriff is slapping the handcuffs on your wrists??? How convienient for them... Last I 'member from my bad boy dayz, (meemmmooorrriiieeeessss!) it's hard to make a phone call with matching bracelets on your wrists... Is that their answer to 2257 compliance???

Some of us that provide content are somewhat in a quandry as to what to do. If we release all of our model releases and id's WITHOUT the models private and confidential information blacked out and then the FSC's request for a TRO is granted, we then will be in violation of a number of privacy laws, especially in California.

We have notified our Customers that all of the 2257 required documentation required by CURRENT law is available (meaning the models address, phone number, DL number, etc. are blacked out) and we have set up a download link that we are providing to our customers.

We are also informing our customers that if the FSC request for a TRO is NOT granted, we will then immediately send them a link to a page which then contains the download link to containing all of the information rquired by the 2257 regs scheduled to go into effect Thursday.

We understand that it isn't an ideal situation but under the circumstances, it's the best we believe we can do to protect both our models and our customers.
