FL Internext Jitters Anyone?

Ive heard a lot of people are pulling out because to attend is so damned expensive for their team this year.

Also a few companies are pulling out of sponsoring because of the involved costs of doing so, including some of the 'regulars' for party events etc.

I was speaking to someone a few days ago who told me for her to fly down to Florida was going to cost her $125, the ticket itself is more than double that price.

Internext is a wonderful show. Of the shows I attended last year, it was my absolute favorite.

However, I admit that I am waffling. I love seeing everyone and all.... but I do think the 2257 stuff will effect it. So I have been weighing instead the Citiboyz cruise, advertising in Forbidden-Named magazines and maybe even going to the Berlin Venus show.

2257 considerations aside, we're having to say no to a go - we just can't justify the expense right now.... unless someone wants to hire me and the wifey and help offset the costs involved. Between air fare, hotel and show tickets, we're looking at over 2 grand. Kinda expensive for us since we aren't promoting a program per se and just basically wanted to catch up with old friends and put faces to new ones I've made in the meantime.

And I was looking forward to Gary and Lee and BigMoe in the bellyflop contest (even though Gary says never again! LOL)
