When I worked at Pornication we accepted mail in payments. If it was a personal check, they had to wait for it to clear before we created their account. Cashier's checks/money orders we put through right away. We had a contract online for the customer to print and sign and send in with a copy of signed photo-id.

However, in the entire time I worked there, very few people utilized this option. It's probably different for membership site payments though, we were putting money into accounts for live shows...where the money goes a lot faster. If it was something that only had to be done once a month, or once every 3 months...it would probably be much more viable. Do you guys get a lot of people taking advantage of mail-in payment options?
