Value Of A Surfer These Days?

I was just looking over some stats for a bunch of revshare programs we have been using for the past 6 months and, comparing the value of sales on those programs to that of our PPS programs we use then, comparing those figures to last years figures for the same period.

I have to say, im not impressed at all, it seems the 'value' of a surfer has dropped significantly during the last 12 months and i cant think of any significant reason why other than a continual supply of free porn.

Whatever happened to the days when the surfer had a handfull of sites in their preferred niche to join :uhoh:

It seems the more we pander to the surfers want for porn, the less profitable they also become

Has anyone else noticed that the value of their surfers seem to be dropping? If so, what would you attribute this decline in profitablity per surfer to?

Could it be something as simple as an excess of free porn or perhaps an excess of new sites for them to join?

there's more to it than just the availability of free porn, in my opinion. there's the fact that there is so many fucking paysites out there, and also the fact that most guys who have joined our sites and communicated with us have joined sites in the past who lied - making them a lot less likely to join another site.

i have seen member areas that don't even slightly resemble the tours in appearance, and the content isn't even slightly what was described in the tours. for example, almost every "traditional" mature site promises a mature feed, yet not one i've seen acually has one. they have the same old generic live feeds that are mostly 20somethings. most big dick sites have few or NO big dick movies. many sites are nothing but plugins, and some are very hard to cancel.

according to news i read there are a lot less new surfers coming on the scene. the guys we are left with are experienced surfers. they KNOW that their penis won't get any bigger, the teens in most teen sites are over 28 years old, and that they may be billed after they quit.

i notice the best sites out there still sell for me at a good ratio, but the uninspired tours and same old content don't do much. also surfers are less likely to click just because you tell them to do so - again, experienced and hard-earned scepticism.

every site has a different value on their members, it really is up to the site owner to give its members exactly what they want to ensure their member's value is kept at a good level. :thumbsup:
