Oh it SO annoys me when the Old Testiment is used to preach and pointed to for guidence.

Doesn't God forgive everyone?
No. God will have mercy on whom He will have mercy, and whom He will He hardeneth (Romans 9:18).

As a born again Baptist I KNOW I am forgiven all my sins and that is based on pure Faith. I need no middle man, all I have to do is ask with a sincere and open heart and it's done. I also know that it is my own responciblity to decide what G-d is telling me when I read the Bible.

It is the New Testiment where life's purpose and guildlines are writen for Christians. No hate, no gay bashing, no throwing of stones at the sinners, just the true message of Christ -

LOVE Thy Neighbor as Thyself.

It is the one rule that we can all live by and when put into practice, a life worthy of a child of creation or evolution and a world not run by hate.
