I am sure this particular vote of his will create much discord for the remainder of his first and ONLY term, thus why I posted it here.

I've been to the vanderbilt estate its incredible unfortunately someone stole my digital camera on the plane on the way home~ If you have some pics of the estate im sure everyone would enjoy seeing them its a truly amazing place!!

Congressman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) and Senator Patrick Leahy (D-VT) will reintroduce the Uniting American Families Act (UAFA) in the U.S. Congress on Tuesday, May 8, 2007. The bill would let gay and lesbian Americans sponsor their partners for immigration benefits, ending the cruel discrimination that keeps loving couples apart.

In the last session of Congress, UAFA succeeded in capturing more than half the House votes it needs to pass, plus more Senate supporters than ever before. When a bill is still pending at the end of one session of Congress it must be reintroduced in the next session and must re-sign all previous cosponsors

I also visited the estate and it is a great place to see.
