You mean auto-submission programs?

Lee
Yeah sorry I mean software.
Michael
Chameleon
http://www.chameleonsubmitter.com/
Database is update all the time.
I havent used auto-submission software in about 4 years since pretty much every major TGP blacklisted auto-submissions because of the habitual abuse of those programs by the webmasters using them.
Before i went to partner submission only on CumSoda i did have several people who used submission software and, without fail, within 2 days of the galleries being approved, they all got redirected. That was part of my reasoning behind closing public submission on CumSoda.
Regards,
Lee
i know people who have had good results with chameleon and advancedsubmitter. many pros consider dreamsubmitter the best, but i haven't personally used it.
and keep in mind that most people who make good money hand post to all the important or large tgps and use a submitter for all the little guys. no matter what they tell you, a submitter usually gets around 1/4 of the hits hand submitting does if it's used right. if it's used wrong, it can get as little as 1/10th. i've talked to a LOT of people using auto submitters and the daily hits they give me are always 1/4 or less of what hand submitters in the same niches are getting.
You can still use auto submitprograms w/ partner accounts.Quote:

The big and better tgp's it's better to submit by hand. But on a high skim TGP if i have to submit by hand it's not worth it.
I was just saying that even if a tgp has a partner account it doesn't automatically mean you can't use an autosubmitter.
Concerning Autosubmitter. I use to use that program, but never did the full auto routine. I always had it load the page as on many tgps I found I had to change a thing or two. It's a decent program, but the db maint. can drive you nuts as tgps come and go.
don't forget that there is a HUGE difference between an auto-submitter and an assisted-submitter (please correct me on the terms if they are wrong). Auto submitters are good for TGP sites that don't have any generated alphanumeric codes to input (usually small TGP sites). On the other hand, assisted-submitters are good for all others, as they create all the copies of the galleries with recips for you and then pre-fill the fields in and let you complete it with a manual entering of the alphanumeric code plus any other details.
I cannot believe any serious TGP submitter would NOT use these tools. Just the pre-filling alone would save you an hour a day.
cheers,
Luke
I AGREE. I used autosubmiiter more as and assisted submitter. It created all my galleries from a template. Uploaded. Then I never used the fully auto submit function. I had it load every page in a window, w/ pre filled info, then actually hit the submit from the web page.Quote:

Also, roughly how much time per day does the typical webmaster spend doing submissions (hand- or assisted)?
I used to submit daily to about 600 TGP sites, including about 120 of these either hand submitted or with an assisted-submitting tool. The last time I did this was about 1 1/2 years ago and I was using Russian Submitter. But I have heard that there are a lot of newer ones out now that are better.

hi all! if i may add, chameleon has an auto confirmer feature which lets you "auto confirm" the emails sent to you by the tgp directories... i you'll ask me, this is better than advanced submitter.Quote:

To the smaller TGPs, which we do not have accounts with, we use Chameleon.
Russian had WAY too many problems as well beyond horrid support (as in, they never, or rarely, gave it)!
Still believe in a using all methods available.
thanks for the great reading.. there are many interesting notes in this thread.
also, if you are wondering to try/renew Chameleon, then take advantage from the company's latest promotion:
CS Team is now offering $10 OFF on EVERY Chameleon Submitter 3 months license.
I tried Chameleon submitter just last week. It's another fine example of a piece of software created by someone "in the know" and the person trying to learn the program is completely in the dark.
Plus the gay TGPs it's submitting to are a lot of small ones, so they weren't very useful to me. And of course in the submission list generated by my requirements which was TGPs accepting gay submissions, I got a gazillion straight teen TGPs.
After playing with it for a couple of hours, I decided it was going to be a huge waste of my time and I'd just submit by hand to quality TGPs.
Now I may be talking completely out of my ass here but, to me, it looks like TGP submission software is a colossal waste of time. It's like this: if you throw enough shit at a brick wall, some of it will stick. Likewise, if you submit a gallery to 2,000 TGPs, some of them will take it, whether they have any traffic or any traffic that's interested in your gallery is another thing.
So the question becomes: Am I wasting my hour a day submitting by hand to quality TGPs that get me traffic, or am I wasting my time thinking that a piece of software submitting my gallery to thousands of TGPs is actually getting me somewhere. I'll just bit the bullet and do the hour a day. Like anything in this business, if you want good results you usually have to do it the hard way.
Cheers,
Michael
Hard to say, its all individual from case to case.. there are people out there using autosubmitters who have a great results, there are those who still do it all by hands and dont do bad either, then there are those who uses some kind of software to submit however they dont have any bigger succes, and also lets not forget about many people who have left the business assuming that there is no money in it.
If you work with autosubmitter, it can be pretty good with Partner Accounts. You can fully customize your DB in autosubmitter for this purpose which means, the quality of your work might be the same as doing the best TGP's by hands, however you will save lots of time, because the script will actually do the "boring" part for you. This is what I prefer about autosubmitter, at least it gives me a chance to spend more time at different places because I can then more focus on gallery itself and its quality.
Once you got the program, I recommend to give it one more shot and try to learn how to use it. Chameleon is supposed to be the easiest program out there. You can also check out the interactive Tutorials for Chameleon that has been made in Macromedia Flash and show how to set it up and use it properly.
