I tried Chameleon submitter just last week. It's another fine example of a piece of software created by someone "in the know" and the person trying to learn the program is completely in the dark.
Plus the gay TGPs it's submitting to are a lot of small ones, so they weren't very useful to me. And of course in the submission list generated by my requirements which was TGPs accepting gay submissions, I got a gazillion straight teen TGPs.
After playing with it for a couple of hours, I decided it was going to be a huge waste of my time and I'd just submit by hand to quality TGPs.
Now I may be talking completely out of my ass here but, to me, it looks like TGP submission software is a colossal waste of time. It's like this: if you throw enough shit at a brick wall, some of it will stick. Likewise, if you submit a gallery to 2,000 TGPs, some of them will take it, whether they have any traffic or any traffic that's interested in your gallery is another thing.
So the question becomes: Am I wasting my hour a day submitting by hand to quality TGPs that get me traffic, or am I wasting my time thinking that a piece of software submitting my gallery to thousands of TGPs is actually getting me somewhere. I'll just bit the bullet and do the hour a day. Like anything in this business, if you want good results you usually have to do it the hard way.
Cheers,
Michael
