I started at least one of these threads but to me thats also about business in a funny way. As a non American im trying to understand the very complex and totally different US political system (different to what im used to at least). Not because im sad or boring but because what Congress do effects my bottom line. They ban gamblng and the few sales i made from it dissapear over night. If they do it to porn im stuffed (actually id go foriegn language but never mind). It effects my business so i should look at it and try to see whats happening and how it works.

Yes, Politics change our laws and we should have an emotion attached to our views. I made an open statement "I could give a shit about the effects" and it's not true. The effects of anyone in office will effect my life, my business and my surrounding's.

In Tampa, within the city limits you can be fired or kicked out of your home for being gay. Proposition 1 failed and I has everything to do with the vote made by the political Board. It had a direct effect on my life. But I and everyone else moved on. I would rather learn from the past and use it for the future. Not just live in the past and miss out of the change opportunity.
